2026 FALL TEAMS

2026 UPDATED MID SEASON Team reports by Elliott Jones

Rangers:

Halfway through the season and the rangers have not had luck on their side. The rangers have not found a flow of steady offense or steady goal tending. Initially, we thought with the forwards and good goaltending, they would be in the middle, but they find themselves in last place with no visible way to correct the ship. Most likely they will not be competing for the coveted championship trophy this season.

Mustangs:

A bit disappointing for the mustangs I would say. Having the best goaltender and very solid defense, the season has not played out well for the mustangs.  As mentioned before, they will rely heavily on their defense for their offense, and the strategy has kept them in the middle of the pack.   Seems as if the forwards don’t help on the front end, thus the team will be bottom placed in the playoff bracket.  Without a miracle scoring uptick, they will be eliminated quickly.

Marauders:

As predicted, marauders are a contending team. Solid defense and goaltending and strangely they are in the top 3 with fewer goals scored than against. A strange phenomenon but they are a solid team and will still be contenders for the cup.

Broncos:

Even though the goaltending has been good (most of the time) the defense has been lackluster. The goalie can’t do it by himself. They have the #1 player in the league with the most points; however, he is not scoring enough to keep the team out of the bottom half. Along with the most point player in the league, the team has also allowed the most goals in the league emphasized by poor defensive execution.   It would be worse if their goalie was not playing well. The Broncos might be in the bottom 4 at the end of the season and probably not a threat in the playoffs.

Lighting:

After a rough start the last few games have gone much better. Goals against is a problem, however with the 2nd most goals against in the league.   But the team is in dead center in the league. Chemistry is starting to show on offense and as predicted they will be a contender if they can keep pucks out of their net.

Fastback:

The team is 2nd in the standing with the 3rd best goaltending in the league. Team has had a couple of games with a furry of goals, so being the #1 scoring team is a skewed #. They don’t have consistent scoring; just a flurry in a couple of games. However, the team is playing well and will still be a top pick for winning the playoffs especially if they get lucky with the subs.

VooDoo:

As predicted, middle of the pack team, equal on offense and defense. Their margin for winning/losing is thin and left to a mistake or two. However, they do have an offensive threat and when the chemistry flows they will have a chance to win the hard-fought games.

Flivvers:

A bit disappointing for the flivvers to be below .500.  Goaltending has been inconsistent with different backstops. They still have the 3rd lowest goals in the league; however their offense is absent and is suffering with the worst goals for. However, their goaltending can win games, if they find a little bit of offense, they can win games 1-0. Don’t count them out yet.

Falcons:

This was the 1st overall pick from the beginning of the season and they have not disappointed.  The team is heading undefeated into the second half of the season. But numbers can be deceiving, they do have the lowest goals against, but this is mostly due to the lack of offense so far from the opposition and their strength in goaltending. However, with just 3.33 goals per game scored, its not enough of a buffer if they play against a hot shooting team. Their defense has been solid so far and goaltending has been superb.  They are not a dominant team as their record will show but still a tough team to beat, but they are beatable. I would not be surprised if they do not win the championship this year, but they will be in the mix.

Fairlanes, although being the 2nd worst goals against in the league. The Fairlanes are in the middle, a strange predicament. A few rough games in the beginning but there’s up some uptick in chemistry and it showed in the last couple of games. If they can keep the puck out of the net, they are still a team that can surprise and be a top contender in the playoffs.
